Note: My mom and brother both are managers at El Pollo Loco and this post is in no way a cheap plug of their chicken.

 So KFC introduced it’s Kentucky Grilled Chicken. 

I wasn’t impressed. In fact, I was greatly disappointed because I was expecting the best of the 11 herbs and spices in grilled form. Instead I get this cheap knock off of El Pollo Loco, only without the great taste that comes from the crazy chicken.

The chicken was moist, but after trying El Pollo Loco, it was underwhelming. Don’t get me wrong. It tasted fine, but if I want grilled chicken I may stick with the originators. 

It did make me wonder why they are moving with this grilled movement. Is it because people are more health crazy? Yeah, that’s one reason. The other reason could be because the Colonel is fading fast behind Popeyes, which I feel has the better fried chicken.

I suggest trying the grilled chicken from the KFC, but don’t have your hopes up if you’ve had the crazy chicken.
